Rufus Wainwright

THURSDAY 2/7, 19.30H. 48€
ARTS. Professor Lopez Piñero, 1

After walking his Going to a Town Solo Tour by theaters and universities in the United States, Rufus Wainwright brings this intimate format to Les Arts. The València concert will focus on his essence as a singer-songwriter, only on stage, alternating between piano and guitar in a repertoire that combines classics like “Poses”, “Vibrate” or the celebrated “Going to a Town” with more recent compositions. The American-Canadian singer-songwriter plays with melancholy and humor in songs about heartbreak, politics or family memory, e intersperses ironic anecdotes about his life, his country and the music industry to turn each recital into a show halfway between a confessional concert and a theatrical monologue.. A great talent in its purest form. V.CASAÑA
