Imagine an unlikely mix between The Beatles and Black Flag. From that shock is born Redd Kross, the alternative band led by brothers Jeff and Steven McDonald (singer and guitar; drums and bass). The Californians seek the balance between sweet power pop melodies and sixties harmonies with that punk and garage attitude more typical of the seventies. His songs are easy to remember and very pleasant to listen to, thanks to some introspective lyrics that oscillate around personal experiences. With this material, his live show is entertaining and consistent.
