THE SHIPS. John Verdeguer, 22
The second edition of the Pops Marítims festival is coming to theEspai La Mutant from Las Naves with fresh music from this side of the Mediterranean. After a brilliant first edition, they want to repeat the success in a renovated space and with the musical quality necessary to consolidate themselves in the urban musical calendar. We will hear more here Julia with his second LP, Next B, where they return to cosmic spaces based on synthesizers. He will also act there Jordi Lanuza (Inspire), who debuts solo with With the house, a raw album, immediate and stripped. El Petit de Cal Eril will present △, a set of three EPs with purely pop sounds. And others that have also just been published, We Are Not Brothers, they will "blow up" the stage with III, “mechanical” electronics with forceful rhythms. They will come from beyond Pony Bravo, with his fourth work The Ranch, after five years of silence. The singer-songwriter Anari Alberdi will perform with a band, one of the most outstanding voices of the Basque musical scene. The versatile Bigoted will act as a disc jockey with a session that, of good security, it will be as surreal as his character. Dorian Wood he will put an international accent on it with his latest EP Xala, in which he tries to stir consciences by making a devastating critique of patriarchal society. Everything points to that, from d'ara, the third weekend of May already has our inescapable one. CARLES PLAS
