Pete Lala

TO THE MUTANT. John Verdeguer, 22

Pete Lala is a musical trio led by Marina Alcantud, pianist, vocalist and lyricist of the band. The group has a wide variety of influences ranging from traditional jazz to more experimental sounds by American pianist and producer Robert Glasper. Last year they released their debut album entitled Colors, a compendium of ten topics in Valencian and Spanish, and also instrumental compositions. In this first work they collaborated with artists such as singer Carles Dénia, Gessamí Boada or the producer DJ Rosvil, with him they managed to be nominated for New Artist in the Carles Santos awards for Valencian music.
