This January sees the light of the new album of Pep Gimeno "Sausage", which will be premiered in his concert at the Palau de Les Arts within the cycle Valencian music. I see it is the title of the new work in which Pep has surrounded himself with a new band and in which he has also had the collaboration of singer-songwriter Feliu Ventura as lyricist, in addition to other artists who join their voices to that of the singer from Xàtiva. Almost fifty years ago Pep Gimeno toured the villages of his region interviewing the elderly looking for forgotten songs or in danger of disappearing because they had never been recorded. today, thanks to him, we can enjoy those songs dressed in gala and many other new ones that enrich our culture as a people.
