Paco Moreno is anything but the most obvious. Their album titles give us a clue: Rumbitas (2019), Rumba deluxe (2021), Rumba the nothing (2021), Rumba Plus (2022) i deep rumba (2022). Even if the rumba is the inspiration from which his stories unfold, the singer from Huelva adds pop, the cumbia, the bolero, urban rhythms and salsa, always with a lo-fi background. Without any prejudice, his songs live in an indeterminate place between Luis or Rumba 3, the customs of Marcelo Criminal and the rhythms of Kiko Veneno. In his music there are no sonic or generational boundaries and heartbreak and sorrows are a reason for courtship. ALBA NADAL
