Owen Pallet is a prolific violinist, Canadian composer and arranger. He has done arrangements for Arcade fire and REM, and has also collaborated with Tim Burton. Classically trained, his music is intense, comforting and complex, based on unexpected harmonic progressions. Live he usually presents himself with one loop, a keyboard and a violin, to create rich and dense sounds in the style of contemporary symphonic groups.
