Olden Yolk is a recent band formed in Brooklyn by songwriters Shane Butler and Caity Shaffer. Butler had previously been one of the guitarists and vocalists of the band Quilt, which stood out for its style of psychedelic music created with traditional instruments of the rock. In 2018, Olden Yolk released their first self-titled LP and stood out for a sound they shared with the previous band.: psychedelia of the years 60 but with a root of style folk. This year they published their latest work, Living theatre, a more solid proposal that is consolidating them as one of the most interesting bands on the music scene. RACHEL CAMBRALLA
