Contemporary flamenco cannot be understood without the figure of Paco Contreras, Child from Elche. He singer and poet reinfuses (And ultimately, catapult) the essence of flamenco in a genuine way: with its own lyricism and sound that combines the experimental and the most ancestral of this music. Dabble under influence or influencing in other genres or bands/artists as witnessed by his musical collaborations with Raül Refree, Rosalía or The Planets, among others, but also through other arts or channels, like cinema, or the radio, with his podcast on RNE's Radio3, strange heterodoxies.
