Ten years after his irruption in the national music scene and traveling halfway around the world devouring stages at just over twenty years old, the Catalans Mourn they return to the load with the publication of The Avoider (Montgrí, 2024), his fifth LP. A fresh and eclectic album, stuffed with melodies that go through very different styles, with verses and lyrics that are capable of shaking us from head to toe i what, Besides, it has the right immediacy to fully enjoy it, without feeling like you messed up or what, per contra, you left wanting more. We can assure without fear that the Maresme bands are part of the present and the future of rock made in the peninsula and that, of course, they demonstrate more than enough that they have a talent for giving and selling.
