McEnroe

THE CRAZY CLUB. Scholar Orellana, 12

One of the most interesting formations of the current Spanish indie-rock scene is making a stop in Valencia, McEnroe. The Basque band, led pel songwriter Ricardo Lezón, voice and bass of the group, is currently on tour presenting his sixth studio album, The Distance. Certainly, the concert will be an opportunity to discover new themes full of poetry, melancholy and instrumental developments which constitute the factory brand of Getxo. And to listen to songs from his previous works again, from self-publishing To the south of my life (2003), to those born from their fruitful collaboration with the production company Subterfuge, especially The flowers roar (2015), the record that comes closest to how McEnroe sounds live.
