Manel

THURSDAY 24/3, 21H. 25/30€
MOON. Saint Vincent the Martyr, 200

Ja és la segona (potser la tercera?) volta que Manel passa per València a presentar By the good people, però no se’ns fa bola: and a dazzling album, a pirouette in the style of the group, plena de tombarelles variades que arrodoneixen un treball polifònic i al·lucinant. They move from the contemporary pop characteristic of their sound to electronica, l’R&B i el hip-hop, amb samples de clàssics de la música catalana: Maria del Mar Bonet, The Farts, Lluís Llach, Cat Perez… Besides, venen amb tres cançons noves incloses en el seu darrer EP, L’amant malalta. I, sincerely, només per poder sentir el remix d’Al mar i Mi gente (J Balvin) live, ja valdrà la pena el preu de l’entrada. CARLES PLAS
