The international tour of the prodigal composer M. Ward will be canceled at the gene 2021 because of the complicated health situation at the time, but Tranquilo and the Musical Theater have refished it for the start of the season. The American presents his new album Think of spring, a collection of songs originally recorded by his muse Billie Holiday. This title comes from a poem written in 1924 by Jane Brown-Thompson who is finally going to become “I get along without you very well” al 1938, the song that starts the album. Recorded with only one analog track, Ward achieves this intimate sound by refining the original songs and strings through a single acoustic guitar, using various alternative tunings and a minimal amount of textures and studio manipulation.
