Paradigm of neatness and simplicity, the norwegian duo Kings of Convenience formed by Erlend Øye and Eirik Bøe, It presents a new album Peace or Love (2021) after several years in fallow. We highlight the collaboration of the Canadian singer-songwriter Leslie Feist on the songs “Love is a lonely thing” and “Catholic country”. Although it does not reach the excellence of the previous albums, Peace or love presents us good songs, very naked, lyrics with recurring and inexhaustible themes (for its universality) and the fresh absence of artifice. The credentials that Kings of Convenience present for elevating human passions to a musical essence of guitars and voices, whether to be heard in an intimate live or in the llparticular to each one.
