THE CRAZY CLUB. Erudit Orellana, 12
Barely a year after his last performance in El Loco Club, he songwriter of Nebraska Josh Rouse presents his thirteenth studio album again, The holiday sounds of Josh Rouse. It maintains a certain continuity with their previous album, The embers of time (2015), the keyboards take up more space and give the disc some touches jazz, funk, and almost groove per moments, without taking away its essence folk characteristic of Rouse, which we basically find in his voice and melodies. Known and recognized for his works more indie, rock or melancholic (1972, Nashville), Rouse never ceases to amaze us with this one “holiday album” which could be described as tropical.
