THE RAMBLET. Bulevard sud, esq. Pius IX

For those who don't know Jose Gonzalez, just tell you that he is a swedish artist, of Argentine roots, who started as a bassist, and when he switched to the acoustic guitar he didn't get rid of his way of playing. After twenty years he still hasn't done it. For those who know him, just tell you that keep doing folk, more African than Latin, with his unmistakable voice, fragile and harmonious, and its rhythmic arpeggios full of intricate layers. We have been waiting for a new album for six years and it finally arrived, Local valley (2021); a whole reflection on humanity, about what unites us and separates us, about one's own being, and about who we are, Where do we come from and where are we going.
