Jen Cruz

CARME CENTER. Museum, 2

On the occasion of its cultural season “a planet (in)vivo”, the French Institute is associated with the foundation Bye Bye Plastic to imagine a sustainable cultural future during a hybrid event, between debates and music. A first part (online) will bring together professionals to talk about sustainable innovation in the music field followed by a DJ set from Salome the Cat (France). The second part, in person at the CCCC, will see the performance of the Catalan DJ Jen Cruz, ambassador of Bye Bye Plastic in Spain. With remarkable performances at the Moog or L'Hivernacle in Barcelona, his sessions invent an electronic and insane journey that acts as a bridge between the techno from Detroit, he house music i l’underground. Through this event, We welcome the double commitment of the French cultural institution in Valencia: looking for solutions in the environment and giving visibility to women in the - still too male - world of electronic music.
