Jake la Botz

16 TONS. Ricardo Micó, 3

Born in Chicago, Jake la Botz He is a lover of old people bluesmen of the city. This Hollywood actor and somatic meditation teacher has been playing anywhere he can for years., From smoky dives and roadside bars, to churches and, even, tattoo conventions. When Jake says that he learned to play on the street and that his inspiration is found in the grooves of records by artists like Buddy Guy, Etta James or Ray Charles you understand their class. When you see it in some performances on the big screen it wins you over. A pleasure to enjoy this cursed poet up close. With a new album under his arm Jake will give us a lesson in mojo.
