You may know Danny Nedelko because of the hit song that his friend Joe Talbot wrote for him, But, beyond the anecdote, it is imperative to recognize that he is one of them frontmans with more charisma than all the new wave of English punk in recent years. With only three EPs and one album released, All Gas No Brakes (2023), those from Bristol managed to open for bands as established as Metz or Osees, in addition to becoming favorites of Iggy Pop himself. We buy, after that debut, Heavy Lungs have published Caviar (2025), a disc that keeps raw batteries, riffs with good distortion and a Nedelko that, sometimes, is capable of raising Jim Morrison himself from the grave.
