Estrella Morente

PALACE OF THE ARTS. Professor Lopez Piñero, 1

One of the most emblematic voices of current flamenco visits the Palau de les Arts, Estrella Morente. After five years of “silence”, Granada presents Copla, his latest work and great tribute to the popular genre par excellence in Spain. In that project that bears the mark of his father, the teacher Enrique Morente, Estrella leaves aside the hymns and political connotations usually associated with the copla, and vindicates the value of compositions in the form of a sentimental map of several generations. A challenge worthy of his talent in which he will perform such iconic songs as “Soledad”, "That is me", "It's a shame, pen"… S.P.
