This is not the first time these big bands have shared stage, and sure, Nor will it be the last. Benimaclet big band and En clau de jazz have many aspects in common: most of its members are musicians amateurs coming from classical studies with the desire to learn the specific language jazzy, its members are passionate about good music and night rehearsals, the two groups have a musical career of more than ten years; and if all this seems little, the two have a great time sharing experiences, knowledge and scenarios for the Valencian Community, the Spanish State i, exceptionally, by some European countries. In this concert, divided into two parts, each big band will perform a different repertoire, based on, almost exclusively in classical standards of the swing, but without neglecting other styles like the latino to bossa nova.
Benimaclet big band is directed by the excellent musician Carlos Marquina and En clau de jazz by the master of masters, Ricardo Belda. Most of its components are from La Ribera Alta and, for this occasion, they will have the collaboration of the fantastic voice of Arantxa Domínguez.
