The little one of Cal Eril

THE SQUARE. Primate Reig, 8 ???

We still need to introduce the Petit de Cal Eril, Catalan band that has been creating slightly psychedelic pop for fifteen years, which gently touches the wonderful and the emotional? Definitely, a band that speaks to everyone's ears with their music that is both universal and personal. In his eighth album, N.S.C.A.L.H. (You won't know how to end the story) (Bankrobber, 2021), Joan Pons and his companions continue their metaphysical and introspective journey, evoking the eternal and paradoxically fleeting value of the passage of time and the small moments of everyday life. These new songs continue to follow in the footsteps of poetry, but they also leave room for musical and linguistic experimentation. The music of Petit de Cal Eril crosses time wisely to better define itself as timeless and embrace us strongly every time we listen to it. B.L.
