The Birmingham Band Editors arrives in Valencia with their prolific European tour in which they are presenting recent singles like “Vibe” o “Heart attack”, but they also give away star songs from their discography such as “Barricades” o “Munich”. Tom Smith and his followers have managed to resurrect sounds more typical of past decades with reminiscences —very nostalgic for many of the staff— in the vein of David Bowie or (even more) de Joy Division. Rich in dark lyrics tending towards a melancholic tone paired with melodies that mix a solid rock base. (low, battery) with the resuscitating use of synthesis. SERGIO BELLO
