Cupid

THURSDAY 1 AND FRIDAY 2/12
MOON. Saint Vincent the Martyr, 200

When Pimp Flaco transitioned from hard trap to purer pop, everything made me think that Cupid it would be little more than a rarity. However, and against all odds, the group's first album turned out to be a millimetric exercise in luminous pop-rock that became an instant classic. time later, Cupid returns to the stage to present Overdose of love, a more nostalgic and atmospheric album that takes them away from funk and brings them closer to totems like The Cure and Morrissey. Pimp Flaco and his crew seem to be obsessed with the eternal search for the perfect love song. As they continue to make such brilliant discoveries, we will continue to thank them. IVAN N. FLORES
