Nursery concerts 2025

FROM TUESDAY 1 ON FRIDAY 25/7
NURSERY GARDENS. Saint Pius V, s/n

Hard to know if you need to laugh or cry: the programming of the Nursery concerts, emblematic event of the Valencian summer nights, seems to have lost the course. The musical quote that traditionally accompanies the Great July Fair has seen part of its essence disappear… of first its name in Valencian, Today relegated to oblivion. If for years nurser, which combined the vitality of the Valencian scene and other quality international artists, two years ago, The City Council shows an obvious disinterest in artistic creation, offering a little inspired poster that does not do justice in the history of the festival. Despite this, There are actions that deserve attention. Between them, the presence of the French Caravan Palace [3], they promise a vibrant electro-shing show, Ideal for starting parties with summer rhythm and energy. We will also find two British legends of the eighties: The Human League [15], heads of the technopop, whose influence still lasts in the history of pop music; and finally, Simple Minds [20], with his mythical themes that will vibrate the nostalgia of many. This is, so, our selection –limited, yes - but it deserves a careful listening. B.L
