Orgullo charnego, de acento y de origen en su álbum de debut La herida where tradición y modernidad pasan delante por turnos haciéndole guiños a grandes figuras de la cultura andaluza como Lola Flores, La Paquera de Jerez, Marifé de Triana, Gata Cattana, Lole y Manuel o Camarón de la Isla. Y a una yankee que se cuela: Ms. Lauryn Hill, too good to be true. Xía mezcla y experimenta con los géneros sin prejuicios (“Viva el rap, la copla y el flamenco, diferente cante, mismo horizonte”) en once cortes cortantes de rabia que encuentra su camino. S.M.
