Wind drops

FRIDAY 17/11, 20.30H. 20€
MOON. Saint Vincent the Martyr, 200

The Catalan duo formed by Aleix Turon and Joan Delgado is, certainly, a unique species in the state musical scene. Emulating the formula of other groups of the size of Japandroids o Girls, the people of Emporda Wind drops they have managed to forge a sound of their own, simple but strong, with sometimes evocative and intimate lyrics, sometimes sincere. After three years of absence, in April they published their last album, Beautiful house (Montgrí, 2023), a delicate job, strung with much love and care that, Besides, has luxury collaborations such as Gorka Urbizu (Bad news) o Amaral. How could it not be otherwise, Cala Vento will pass through our city this November, a concert included in the Casa Linda Tour which will surely satisfy the demands of the most demanding. MARIA M.
