Bodega

MONDAY 7/10, 21H. 16/20€
16 TONS. Ricardo Micó, 3

The resurgence of indie and post-punk with a Saxon accent, certainly, is bringing us new proposals, acids, but at the same time very very very cool. A good example is Bodega, which has been consolidated as one of the most poignant bands of this new wave for its irreverence, but also to highlight the problems that, as a consumer society, they cross us. The band from New York visits us to present their album Our brand could be yr life (2024, Chrysallis Records Limited), an album that recovers the rebellious spirit of nineties indie and renews it with a critical look towards the contemporary world. In this work, Bodega satirizes the dynamics of personal branding, digital consumerism and the culture of immediacy with ironic lyrics and psychedelic and lo-fi rhythms that leave no one indifferent. If you have to bet on a concert this October, Bodega are the winning horse. MARIA M.
