La joven mezzo-soprano georgiana Anita Rachvelishvili saltó a la fama tras su exitosa Carmen junto a Jonas Kaufmann y Erwin Schrott en la Scala de Milán en 2009, dirigida por Daniel Barenboim. Since then, cosechó grandes triunfos interpretando ese mismo papel en el Metropolitan de Nueva York, la ópera de París o la de Berlín. Relevantes apariciones en conciertos como el Requiem also Verdi, con Christian Thielemann, para el festival de Salzburgo, la convirtieron, según los expertos del género, en una de las más relevantes interpretes verdianas de la actualidad. In the year 2018 estrenó su disco de debut titulado Anita con la Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de la RAI bajo la conducción de Giacomo Sagripanti. V.CASAÑA
