Amparanoia

LET'S ESCAPE. Campoamor, 52

The back to school from La Salà in September will be very powerful. The female quartet of urban and tropicalism danceable Maluks [10] opened the door to one of the reference groups of mestizo music on a large scale that broke the schemes of the Spanish industry with The power of Machin (1997). Amparanoia! The band led by Amparo Sánchez reunited for an international tour coinciding with the twentieth anniversary of the legendary album, this was the spark that reactivated the group and encouraged Sánchez to write ten new songs grouped in Collective Hymnopsis, produced with his own record label, Mamita Records. They will present them at La Salà making us dance to the rhythm of feminist cumbia, western, rock, Caribbean reggae, electronics, Latin and urban rhythms that pay tribute to the roots of the family, they highlight the value of our time (time he has been able to devote to this new album), they claim the importance of the here and now (we don't know what's going to happen) and knowing how to forgive, and they recognize the inspiration of feminist struggles in Latin America. A lot of fusion, very Amparanoia. AU
