Prodigy of the French sun, Alexis Evans is an emerging artist from Bordeaux who, disc rere disc, i yes a duu sixty, surprises critics and fans. Starting from classic soul, his compositions go further and in each of them we hear different influences. In fact, the compositional variety is one of its most characteristic features. There are pieces where the Hammond organ stands out, others are wonderfully arranged with brass or string instruments; in others he introduces impasto vocal harmonies, bass lines and percussion; it even mixes contemporary styles like funk and hip-hop with jazzy details.
