Ensems deserves all our respect for being, with 43 editions, the oldest experimental music festival in Spain (porta celebrant-se uninterruptedly from 1978), for having negotiated the covid-19 pandemic with intelligence and for daring to announce international artists in such complicated circumstances as the current ones. The Austrians will act Schallfeld Ensemble [10/5], the Lithuanians Threesome Now [15/9], the germans Ensemble Mosaic [16/9] and the British Riot Ensemble [18/9], awarded the prize of the Ernst Von Siemens Foundation as the best training of the 2020. Along with guest composers like Unsuk Chin (Corea) i Liza Lim (Australia), as well as Austrian Clemens Gadenstatter and the Italian Pierluigi Billone, of which the piece will be premiered SIZE ME for solo percussion and ensemble. In the local section we will have a Synergein Project [12/5], a Aion Duo [13/5], a Paco Varoch [15/5], i al Instrumental Group of Valencia [24/9], which celebrates thirty years of uninterrupted activity; and from the state sphere come Zukan Trio [8/5], Barcelona Clarinet Players [11/5] and the violinist Alfonso Noriega [18/5]. In addition, the festival will have an unprecedented symphonic program and recover the activities on the street by the hand of the artist Alberto Bernal and grouping Frames Percussion, who will premiere the work #OccupyYourSelf in the Plaza de l'Ajuntament de Valencia.
