JAZZ FESTIVAL

FROM THURSDAY 20/6 TO SATURDAY 28/7
P. MUSIC. The Albereda, 30

The XXVII Valencia Jazz Festival returns to the Palau de la Música after four years of absence due to renovation of its rooms. To celebrate his return he brings together great artists from the Spanish and international scene, but it especially affects the best Valencian jazz. Yes indeed, we will see concerts that connect Spanish jazz with American jazz, and others that give scope to Cuban and flamenco fusion. These are some of the names that add luster to the poster: Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Chucho Valdes, Andrea Motis o Terri Lyne Carrington. Valencian jazz is brought to you by Municipal Symphonic Band of Valencia, the Parakeet Sambeat, Kiko Berenguer o to Ki Big Band, one of the four Valencian big bands that will perform this year. There will also be no shortage of free, open-air concerts in the cycle. Jazz as barris, that this year will be developed from 20 al 28 July at 9 p.m.. The double bassist Martina Sabariego The cycle begins in the Plaza de Campanar [20/7], the trombonist Paco Soler in the Plaza del Santísimo Cristo de Nazareth [21/7], the pianist Eduard Marquina in it Parc Central [27/7] and the voice of Julia Sapiña in it Parc from Benicalap [28/7].
