The Festival Hostes de Gandia organized by lacasacalba celebrates its 13th edition with a whole range of sound experiences that fuse contemporaneity and the tradition of territories such as the Valencian Country, Catalonia or the Basque Country. It all starts with a claim from the looping and the ancestral rhythms in charge of the ethnomusicologist and multi-instrumentalist Amorante in de l'olive Joan Mont [13/1]. And it ends with the grouping Brothers [10/3] by the Serbian contrabassist Ivan Kovacevic with its fusion of Balkan rhythms, gypsy jazz and gypsy sound. Between so many, we will be able to enjoy the double bassist's concerts Magalí Datzira [27/1], of the Catalan trumpeter Alba Armengou [11/2], of Joan Peiró Aznar and of the grouping Morninblind [24/2].
