If there were a mountain of stones for every woman raped, the fields would disappear. Zorra Dorada is a multidisciplinary scenic creation, a ritual to exorcise abuse from a body that expands to become the body of all. The piece was born as an influence from the story of Noa Pothoven, victim of sexual abuse and rape, died by voluntary starvation in 2019, as 17 years. From that impact, Elisa Forcano builds her own fiction: a stage poem about abuse, the rage, lucidity and the possibility of transforming the wound into power. It is not a song in life, but a cry. A radical exercise to rethink life, to dignify death and go through the horror from the body, the word, the image and the movement. If every abused donut s'immolara, who would bring your children into the world?
