LOCA is a piece that is part of the show Emigrades, a work that reflects on migration as an internal and universal process, the endless journey of leaving what we were to arrive, even if it's just for a moment, to who we are now. Three performers face their fears, inherited stereotypes and mandates that condition their identity. Together they move towards new territories, inestables i sense garanties, claiming the freedom to be and building one's own present, with the danger of falling into a potentially debilitating and dangerous dehumanization. Gesture language, choreographic and textual articulates this journey of tense empowerment, where inheritance weighs as much as the need to break it.
