The XV Valencia Comic Days will be held on 22 al 24 May at the La Nau Cultural Center of the University of Valencia. Organized by ASOVALCOM and the Comic Classroom of the Vice-Rectorate of Culture and Society, The conference maintains its spirit of being a completely free event for the public., in which the public will be able to get closer to the work of great authors such as Makeup, Victor Santos, Deik, Loreto Aroca, Save Rubio, Esteban Hernandez, Rafa Fonteriz, Kim, Miguel Calatayud, Jorge Fornés, Jose Jorques, Jaime Calderon, Joel de la Rocha, Miguel Babiano, Carlos Valles, Alba Lopez, LaMarta, Miguel Ángel Giner, Daniel Acuna, Pedro Cifuentes, Ramon Chorqués, Iván García Aguado, Paco Roca, Daniel Torres o Max Vento. A long list of guests that will be completed with children's workshops, the combat of cartoonists and the coincidence with the Còmics Palestins and Llum exhibitions, line and color, the comics of Miguel Calatayud.
We will also have more than seventy publisher stands, bookstores, self-edited and illustrators, distributed between the ground floor and the first floor of the Cloister of the La Nau Cultural Center of the University of Valencia
This year's poster was the work of Cristina Durán, which has been based on different elements of the architecture of the La Nau cultural center and its history, like the ark of funds, which now treasures the comics that will star in the event from the hand of the Wisdom that presides over the fountain of the Plaza del Patriarca, in addition to other elements such as the tribute to Pumby or the demand against the use of generative AI in the arts.
During the Conference there will be signing sessions of the invited authors of the talks schedule and we will also have the participation of other invited authors who will participate only in the signings..
The Conference will have different workshops and activities. In the program of activities we will find everything from workshops for the little ones to the cartoonist's combat, activity sponsored by FNAC, which will be held on Saturday afternoon, in which 8 Participants will compete against each other live under the direction of MacDiego, in a creative battle at the stroke of a pencil, improvising illustrations on the same topic and trying to be the winner.
This year we once again have the presence of the Obi-Wan Valencia Club on Saturday afternoon starting at 18:00h so that all attendees can take all the photos they want with them. Just like last year, these Conferences will also have a space reserved for board games.
