After selling out tickets in the previous edition with Las Bingueras, The Girls of Cádiz return to the L'Alcúdia UA Festival with their new show, The Brave Queen. This is the story of a magnicide. The murder of a queen that everyone hates, but which no one dares to face face to face. Just a mother, moved by the desire for revenge, will be able to skip all the rules, killing without any mercy the woman who has destroyed her daughter's life. Then the commotion will come, the shock, a shameful trial in which everyone lies, and an implacable condemnation to oblivion.
La Reina Brava is an Iberian satirical drama with Shakespearean overtones and reminiscences of the old Castilian ballads.. A new twist from Las Niñas de Cádiz to the classics, but without losing its essence. The Cadiz company works from the roots, fusing elements of popular culture and folklore with others of the so-called cultured tradition, always from humor.
