Action-reaction is the debut album by the progressive jazz group Brut & Nature, created in 2016 by the double bassist and leader Chevi Martínez – owner of the Jimmy Glass Jazz club in Valencia – together with the pianist Ricardo Curto, trombonist Kako Rubio, guitarist Santi Peláez, the saxophonist Jésus Núñez and the drummer Sebastián Laverde. In 2024 Pianist Dani Orts and drummer Pancho Montañez joined. A band composed of excellent musicians residing in the Valencian Community. Brut & Nature is based on a concept based on the improvisatory freedom of its members., with an uninhibited way of interpreting jazz without losing tradition.
