The Jimmy Glass celebrates the thirteenth edition of its International Contemporary Jazz Festival with a selection of great figures and stars of jazz, grouped in just over a month and a half, which will constitute, one more time, a surprising example of the prestige and international commitment of the Valencian club. Saxophonist Lawrence Clark (Camden, New Jersey) He performs for the first time in Jimmy Glass as the leader of a luxury quintet, which features famous trumpeter Duane Eubanks, pianist Theo Hill, double bassist Joris Teepe and veteran drummer Darrell Green. Clark received a scholarship to attend Berklee in Boston, where he changed the alto saxophone for the tenor. In Boston he and his peers had the opportunity to network and perform at local jazz clubs.. After spending several years there, He moved to New York to develop a higher level of musicality.
