La Innombrable is the story of a woman who suffers from madness and depression. In the search to find inner peace, she finds herself trapped in a surreal nightmare where her mind and reality intertwine in a struggle for survival. Throughout the work, the relationship between his madness and the outside world that surrounds him becomes evident. We want to use the dramaturgy of Macbeth to follow an exciting plot, full of dramatic twists. Macbeth is someone constantly tormented by his doubts who struggles to maintain his sanity in a world of chaos. The play begins with these two characters, Macbeth i Lady Macbeth, embodied in two newly arrived immigrants on a Mediterranean beach, that as they embark on their journey, they begin to experience hallucinations and delusions. In a nightmare they can't wake up from.
For this twelfth edition of Valencirc we want to project a strong increase in terms of festival volume, both for the number of activities (more than 50 adding exhibitions and parallel activities), as for the diversity of spaces, actions and groups involved. On the one hand, we wanted to welcome the explosion of creation and production that the Valencian circus is experiencing in recent years, giving two performances to many of the scheduled shows, playing the diversity of our spaces: Palace Gardens, Paiporta, Dawn, Libraries of Valencia, The Nau of the University, CC Nau Ribes 3 and El Musical Theatre. Almost all activities are free, in the open air, claiming public space for the exhibition of shows and other cultural manifestations.
