Orriols is the neighborhood with the greatest cultural diversity in Valencia and the neighbors, proud of this fact, We make it visible every year by organizing all kinds of events to value the richness of diversity, work from difference, enhance the dignity of the neighborhood and advance the fulfillment of rights. From this Wednesday, 22 from May to Saturday, 1 June 2024, we will hold the XII Intercultural Week of the Orriols Neighborhood, with the support of almost fifty entities ( associations, groups and public institutions), We have joined in the organization and development of this week, strengthening community ties between different cultures and 35 nationalities present in our neighborhood. The XII Intercultural Week is an initiative that fills the streets and squares, and crystallizes the efforts of all entities, present in our neighborhood to bring citizens closer to all types of activities that revolve around respect and the discovery of new cultures. During these days we will make murals, story afternoons, exhibitions, cinema forum, documentaries, community garden meeting, community meeting for women's health, community human libraries, Africa day celebration, weather board game, guided tours, healthy eating days and yoga days, creative workshops of cultural options, tour on the history of Orriols, children's choirs, crafts exhibition, community laboratory a first aid kit for Orriols, talk about housing, talk about the reality of Orriols, batucada workshop . Lastly, we highlight the socio-cultural childhood day and finally the intercultural afternoon where there will be parades., entity fair, artistic day for Regularization, culminated with the Orriols world rice festival.
