The SGAE Foundation, through the Territorial Council of SGAE of the Valencian Community, opens this friday 16 January, in the Carmen Center of Valencia, the 11th edition of its Indrets Sonors concert series with the performance of the Castellón artist Anna Millo. Through this live music exhibition we aim to support and disseminate the work of the composers and musical performers of the Valencian Community..
As a novelty of this call, in collaboration with the Consortium of Museums of the Valencian Community, Indrets Sonors launches a category dedicated to urban music, which will feature performances by the aforementioned Anna Millo (Friday 16 January) and from the Valencian Gynebra (30 January). Both concerts will take place, at 18:30 hours and with free entry, in the Carmen Center of Valencia (C/Museo, 2).
In a global context in which urban music dominates the charts and festivals around the world, Indrets Sonors thus wishes to bet on and recognize the talent and creativity of the artists who are revolutionizing the genre from the Valencian Community, helping to promote their repertoires in a unique setting such as the Center del Carme (CCCC).
Indrets Sonors will continue with the block of popular music, with Juan Cortes (12 February), Alejandro Rizo (19 February) and Anuk (26 February). These concerts will be held, at 18 hours and also with free entry, in the SGAE Room Cultural Center of Valencia (C/Blanquerías, 6).
The five artists and bands participating in this 11th call of the cycle were selected, from a total of 43 proposals, by a jury made up of Esteban Hirschfeld (musician, producer and member of the Territorial Council of SGAE of the Valencian Community), Andrea Gimenez (music journalist at Mondo Sonoro, as well as keyboardist and pianist) and Rafa Cervera (writer and journalist).
