From 1 to 6 of October, Valencia hosts the celebration of the 16th edition of the Weird Market. Result of the collaboration between Valencia City Council, the Provincial Council of Valencia and the Generalitat Valenciana, it is the most important professional animation market, video games and new media which is celebrated in Spain and one of the most important in Europe. Its program includes conferences, presentations, meetings, projections, reunions B2B, an employment forum and a market for animated short films for distributors, short film programmers and buyers. Wfest is held as part of Weird Market, an international festival of short animated films selected from those presented on the professional market. The Filmoteca will host the screenings of the different short programs in competition, that will distinguish between the national and the international. Besides, on sunday 6 in October you will be able to see the projection of the winners.
