Volcano, the story of a family that tries to save itself from a past trauma, the fire that happened in the building in which he lived and whose real causes are still unknown. The unexpected arrival of a documentary filmmaker and her interest in the family story will generate a substantial change in the bond between them. The gaze of this external character will alter the domestic order, provoking in the rest of the characters a competition to monopolize the limelight. What happens when an intimate confession becomes representation, and advertising? Our experiences have more value when they are part of a story, when someone looks at us? Where is the border between genuine interest in other people's pain and morbidity? To what extent are we willing to instrumentalize our suffering to stop being invisible?
