This event marks the beginning of a new edition of the Citizenship School, a space that, throughout its seven editions, has established itself as a reference in political training, participation and leadership of migrants in the Valencian Community. The inauguration will open a conversation about rights, migrant representation and political participation in today's Europe, in a context marked by the tightening of immigration policies and the dispute over who can be a full part of democratic life. The recent extraordinary regularization in Spain has shown that any advance in rights can immediately become a political battleground., with reactions that seek to limit, reverse or condition those advances.
