Traditional African music is characterized by melodic simplicity, by the use of question and answer, by a homophonic harmonization of the voices, for the use of ostinatos and for the use of percussion. These traits are perfect for introducing attendees to singing and, above all, when singing aloud. In parallel, We will explore body percussion and, with her, concepts like rhythm, coordination, laterality, attention or ability to work in a group. In this workshop, We will put together a small repertoire of African music where we will combine movements, songs with voices and body percussion.
Activity recommended for family audiences with boys and girls of in between 6 y 12 years.
