Wind of Performing Arts Classroom UPV.
Viento is a contemporary play that addresses the fear of change, memory and the difficulty of letting go of what we cling to. Through an intimate and symbolic scene, The work places the figure of MOTHER in a suspended space, trapped between the memory of a past life and the impossibility of moving forward. The wind appears as a constant and invisible presence: a force that insists, what calls, that pushes towards the inevitable. The appearance of other figures confronts her with the fragility of what she believed she was and with the need to let go of what can no longer be sustained.. In this way Viento proposes a reflection on the passage of time, identity and acceptance.
