Vicente Blasco Ibáñez. His legacy among our collections

The National Museum of Ceramics and Sumptuous Arts "González Martí" organizes a day dedicated to Vicente Blasco Ibáñez, with the motif of the centenary of At the feet of Venus, work in which the writer portrays a character inspired by Manuel González Martí. The session proposes to approach his figure based on his relationship with the museum and his career as an author and editor.

The day will have the participation of specialists who will address different aspects of the work and the context of Blasco Ibáñez, from his relationship with other writers of his time to his international projection, as well as its link with the city of Valencia.

The session is conceived as an opportunity to deepen the figure of the writer and his relationship with the heritage preserved in the museum, highlighting the role of collections as a source of knowledge and cultural dissemination.
