SGAE Foundation, through the Territorial Council of SGAE of the Valencian Community, celebrates a new session in Valencia 33 rpm, a program of musical discussions on historical records of Valencian popular music, devised, directed and presented by the journalist and writer Rafa Cervera.
Between cabbage and cabbage... lettuce, from the Carraixet group, It is the album to which the talk will be dedicated, which will feature the interventions of Mari Giner (Carraixet's voice and fiscorno) and Monty Peiro (musician and cultural anthropologist). This is the second album by the band led by the Giner sisters.. It was published in 1979 and included a selection of popular pieces such as Moixeranga, Paquito El Xocolater and Joan Petit, among other. Carraixet was a reference of the Valencian Nova Cançó and had a primary role both in the revision and dissemination of local folklore and in the cultural and linguistic recovery of the Valencian Community.. With more than fifty years of experience, It is undoubtedly the oldest formation in our territory.
Valencia to 33 rpm dedicated its first session to House Special, compilation album that celebrated the 25 anniversary of the Doctor Divago group.
